Music streaming site Spotify have launched 'Spotify Loves Football' a new microsite inspired and dedicated to this summer’s FIFA World Cup in Brazil. The site features interviews and playlists from stars of the tournament and artists alike, as well as articles exploring the the beautiful game's relationship with music.

'Spotify Loves Football' shares selected tracks from stars of the tournament such as SoccerBible Magazine launch issue cover star Wayne Rooney, Kaká, André Schürrle and Neymar Jr. Alongside these the site offers a chance for celebrity fans to show their support through music, with a host of artists sharing their messages.

Spotify Loves Football also features playlists from FIFA, including the FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014 official playlist and a number of additional playlists celebrating the musical culture of the host nation. Jennifer Lopez, who has recorded the official FIFA World Cup song We Are the One (Ole Ola) alongside Pitbull, has also shared a playlist and is joined by Shakira, who shares her own playlist alongside her memories of performing live at two World Cup ceremonies.

In addition to player and celebrity interviews and playlists, visitors to Spotify Loves Football will be able to enjoy a range of articles looking into the history of the World Cup. These range from pieces on stadium anthems old and new to a guide to the musical heritage of the 12 Brazilian cities to host matches during the tournament.
