In collaboration with adidas, New York's newest football team created its pop-up space 'NYCFC House' to embody the creator culture that currently surrounds both the brand and club, no to mention the game itself.

Billed as a 'Soccer Experience', NYCFC house gave New York City FC a chance to explore and express their creative side. Equally too, a chance for the fans to build that stronger connection to the club, it was a place that opened it's doors for a solid month to host a series of pop-up events. Not just a place to pick up that much sought after merch it also housed an underground pitch to compliment the retail space. Throughout the month the space also hosted a wealth of knowledge from the game and with bespoke events dropping from August into September, it was names from the likes of Patrick Vieira through to former referee Howard Webb who shared their experience from the game.

New York is a city that has adopted the game with truly big city, big apple style and this demonstration that saw club and brand link up screams of football done differently. No longer is a 'club shop' the acceptable norm. An alive retail space that works as a place to activate that excitement, it's a sky blue print of why shifting away from a traditional canvas of convention that we hope to see a lot more of. A savvy move to showcase collaborations with the likes of Mitchell & Ness during New York's instalment of Fashion Week - that's the way we roll and that's the way we like it.
