Manchester United have found a way to spice up their USA pre-season tour by taking on 100 children and James Corden at their Los Angeles UCLA training base. It's Mourinho, Mata, Herrera and Smalling taking on what looks like a classic 35-40-25 formation.

World's nicest man Juan Mata was an obvious choice for the match, and he was joined by teammates Ander Herrera and Chris Smalling in a chaotic game that saw United record just their second victory of their pre-season tour, despite their route one tactics throughout. As much as we would have loved to see Marouane Fellaini bulldozing his way through the infants with flailing elbows, it's probably nice that it all finished on a sweet note.

"I warned you. If that ball came over my fence one more time..."

Pre-season done, and ending on a high. United now turn their attentions to Friday night when they kick off their Premier League season at home to Leicester City. All that heart-warming cuteness will be a very distant memory when a furiously overheated Jamie Vardy is in your face after five minutes.
