Porto goalkeeper Iker Casillas has been digging through his archive this week to pluck out one of the most iconic adidas Predator boots in history. The original silver Predator Precision from 2000, in almost pristine condition – a boot he wore almost 19 years ago the Champions League Final.

After being told to finally put the Christmas decorations back into the loft, the legendary Spanish stopper came back down the ladder dusting off the boots that he wore as Real Madrid beat Valencia 3-0 at the Stade de France in Paris almost two decades ago – a game he started just 3 days after his 19th birthday. Not a bad find at all.

The Predator line was brought back by adidas last season and the Three Stripes have had a lot of fun playing around with re-makes of the Precision line and the Accelerator line – most recently the OG Accelerator colourway in August 2018. With adidas celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Predator this year we wouldn't rule out further re-issues dropping in the coming months, and if they're planning to release a modernised version of Casillas' silver Precision, then we ain't gonna be mad about that.
