The NBA is hosting its season opener between the Charlotte Hornets and the Milwaukee Bucks at the AccorHotels Arena tonight in what is the first official match in history to be hosted in Paris. And with the event occurring in PSG’s backyard, it naturally led to a crossover between the sports, with several Hornets players hooking up with Neymar, Mbappe and co. to promote the new PSG x Jordan 19/20 fourth kit.

The NBA being in town for the season opener coincided nicely with the launch of PSG’s latest Jordan collaboration, and so it was the perfect opportunity for yet another cross-pollination of the sports, bringing together the stars of the football and basketball worlds for an event that was full of mutual appreciation. With several huge NBA fans amongst their ranks, it was only natural that ahead of the game several PSG players, including Neymar JR, Kylian Mbappe and Mauro Icardi – decked out in their new Jordan-branded tracksuits from the Spring 2020 collection – would want to meet up with some of the Hornets players, including Frenchman Nicolas Batum, and the opportunity to hang out was presented following the standard photoshoot for the new PSG x Jordan fourth kit.

The sheer demand for tickets for the Hornets v Bucks match served to highlight the strong link between Paris, Basketball and the Jordan Brand, something PSG have been only too quick to tap into. And connection between PSG and the NBA has already been highlighted recently when Zion Williams stepped out in the same new tracksuit that Neymar, Mbappe and Icardi were wearing when they met up with the Hornets players.

With PSG not playing until Sunday night, you're guaranteed to see a host of players in the front row at tonights game, lending their support to their new acquaintances from the basketball world.
