Hummel have rolled out the limited edition treatment for their home town club, Aarhus. To celebrate the city's status as European Capital of Culture 2017, Hummel have created a bespoke shirt for AGF to wear against Brondby on Sunday.

The limited edition jersey pays tribute to Aarhus and includes various visual nods that represent the city's heightened cultural status. Anything that Hummel produce is covered in cultural class and stylish sophistication, but this project especially is closer to home for the Danish brand. It's a statement for the people of Aarhus to proud of.

First up, you've got the rainbow collar which is inspired by the world-famous Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson’s Your Rainbow Panorama: a 150-metre-long, 3-metre-wide circular glass walkway in all the colours of the rainbow that’s permanently mounted on top of ARoS, Aarhus’ contemporary art museum. That's met with the Aarhus skyline across the chest, featuring some of the city's most iconic buildings.

Finishing off the bespoke design is a redesigned club badge which will be used for Sunday's game only, and even the local brewery Royal Unibrew has agreed to modify their shirt sponsorship to ‘2017’ instead of ‘Ceres’, the name of the local beer. A local club, sponsored by a local beer. Got a lot of time for that, we have.

Just 500 shirts will be made available from 8am on Friday 18 August at hummel.net
