It's all white for PUMA Football this spring as they unveil a collective number of their 2018 national team away shirts ahead of being worn in the international window this week.
Taking the unique route of providing each of their respective nations with a white jersey, PUMA have highlighted the details of each shirt to provide the identity. The idea being that PUMA are celebrating the elementary design features of each federation; including badge, flag or iconography, allowing the supporting nation to shine through.
It's clean, we'll say that. Each individual jersey is beautifully created, but those who aren't aware of the PUMA plan may criticise the overall all-white grouping. Four of the PUMA nations will wear their away shirts at the 2018 World Cup; Switzerland, Uruguay, and the newly acquired Senegal and Serbia. The nations missing out on Russia, but still receiving their white strips are Italy, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Austria, Cameroon, and Czech Republic.
Each kit is stripped back to the core elements that represent each Federation; from the nine blue lines on the neck of the Uruguay shirt that represent the nine original departments of the nation to the red of the national flag on the collar of the Swiss Jersey.
