Brazilian Serie A1 side Sao Paulo FC have unveiled their new 2019/20 away jersey from adidas, which they went on to wear in the second leg of the Campeonato Paulista final against Corinthians this weekend.

The Sao Paulo 2019/20 away jersey features a sublimated glitch effect throughout the vertical red, black and white tricolour stripes, providing a fresh tweak on the Brazilian side’s trademark look when playing away from Cícero Pompeu de Toledo Stadium. They’ll be hoping that it brings them a little more luck going forward however, after they fell to a 2-1 defeat to Corinthians in the final of the Paulistão.

The new look doesn’t stray too far from last season’s look, which was adidas’ first since taking the reigns from Under Armour. The black stripes are noticeably lighter thanks to the previously mentioned glitch effect, while the Three Stripes on the shoulder are now black instead of white, and they sit on red instead of black. Minor changes, but improvements on the last model, and it’s a nice contrast to the already released 19/20 home jersey. Shouldn’t be too many complaints from the Sao Paulo faithful with this one.
