Laying down some serious centenary style, Nike have launched a special limited edition shirt that celebrates the hundredth anniversary of the foundation of the Polish Football Association. The Poland Centenary shirt features a unique design that honours the pride, honour and courage of all associated with the nation.

The unique design of the Poland Centenary shirt sees a split white and red base that forms the Polish flag, and the template itself is not all that different to the current home and away shirts, amalgamating the two for a distinct look. A special logo commemorating the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the association features on the inside of the neck, while the country’s crest takes its usual place on the left side of the chest.

The split design is a simplistic one, and one that celebrates the history of the nation whilst being complemented by that throwback, oversized club crest. A red dash around the collar and a red Swoosh on the right side of the chest keep to the satisfying symmetrical look. The back of the shirt is plain white with a red stripe on the neckline. Just like that, beautifully done.

The Poland Centenary shirt was worn by the men’s national team for the first and only time on Monday night when they beat Israel 4-0 in the PGE Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw. Goals from talisman Robert Lewandowski, Krzysztof Piątek, Kamil Grosicki and Damian Kądzior edged the Poles closer to EURO 2020 qualification as the home side maintained a 100% start to their qualifying campaign.
