With yet another standout design for the season ahead, Nike launch the Corinthians’ new third jersey for the 2019/20 season, and it features a design that celebrates the club’s unique fan base and three specific moments when they have literally taken over a stadium and driven their team on to victory.
Joining the club's home and away options, the Corinthians 2019/20 third jersey from Nike shows off a distinctive and disruptive design that pays tribute to three historical moments in time when the club’s fans have literally taken over away stadiums and made their team feel like they were playing in their home ground, first in 1976 and then in 2000 and 2012, when the club won the FIFA Club World Cup.
As well as the obvious graphic print, the shirt also hides another design feature, visible only under UV light. Turn out the lights and step under UV and you will see an image of the team bus hidden on the numbers on the back of the shirt, existing as an eternal symbol of the team’s invasions. There are also further options to personalise the shirt with special patches that refer to each of the three big occasions.
