Last season may not have panned out the way they would’ve liked, but that doesn’t take away from Real Madrid being one of the most successful clubs in the history of the game, and that’s reflected in their new home kit for 23/24 from Adidas, which sees the traditional white kit trimmed in gold.

With the exits of Karim Benzema, Eden Hazard and Marco Asensio, coupled with the arrivals of Jude Bellingham, the return of Brahim Díaz, and that lingering rumour of Kylian Mbappe that just won’t go away, it’s something of a period of change for Real Madrid, and its brought into focus with the club’s new kit from adidas. It sees the traditional white kit edged in gold and navy accents throughout.

With a nod to past designs, most notably the 2011/12 jersey, the gold accents from previous kits are re-introduced alongside navy framing. They feature on the Three Stripe branding on the shoulders, and through the collar and cuffs, tying in nicely with that Club World Cup winners crest, which sits above the adidas chest branding. The navy accents pair up nicely with the gold on both collar and cuffs, while it goes solo down the side panels and through the rear hem. An allover, sublimation print is a subtle update to the classic all-white colour, while "¡Hala Madrid!” appears on the rear neck as a nice sign off.
