Leaving it close to the wire, Tottenham Hotspur revealed their 23/24 Nike away shirt before debuting it in their opening game of the season, away to Brentford.

Spurs began life after Harry Kane with a 2-2 draw against Brentford on Sunday, and that game also saw the debut of their new away kit for the 23/24 campaign. The shirt was actually unveiled on Friday evening, but it was somewhat overshadowed by their talisman’s departure for Bayern Munich, however, it got the attention it deserved with the opening game of the North London side’s season.

The all-Navy design takes cues from kits of the past, with a retro high-buttoned collar and layered colours complementing a holographic cockerel crest and Nike swoosh.

More than just a shirt though, the designs have something extra hidden within for fans. With innovation at the forefront, the new Away shirts can be brought to life with the use of augmented reality (AR). Fans are able to scan the front of the shirt using Instagram reels, activating a filter that can be recorded and posted straight onto your feed.
