On the morning of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations kick off in Equatorial Guinea, PUMA have released an African inspired evoSPEED 1.3 boot to celebrate the tournament.

Not ones to play it safe PUMA have a reputation for shaking things up in the design department and they've pulled it out the bag again with the release of the beautifully executed PUMA evoSPEED 1.3 "Africa" boots. The design take reference from the ever colourful African culture and the tournament's original and intended host nation Morocco. The main body on the boot features a simple black background with the help of a mixture of bright colours to bring the boots to life.

The PUMA branding on the instep features a lined pattern flowing throughout, along with a colour combination of a deep purple, orange and light yellow. The outside of the boot sees the removal of the PUMA stripe and in its place we find a colourful graphic visual of an African sun rise, illuminated in a very similar colour palette to that on the inside of the boot. Two more suns feature on the boot, one on the heel and another on the tongue. In another reference to Morocco, only 1,666 pairs of the PUMA evoSPEED 1.3 "Africa" will be available worldwide. The number is a reference to the founding year of Moroccon Royal House.

The PUMA evoSPEED 1.3 Africa is available from selected online stockists including Pro-Direct Soccer.
