PUMA have lifted the lid on their third generation evoSPEED ahead of the 2014/15 season. Launching in Prism Violet/Fluorescent Yellow the evoSPEED 1.3 comes packed with new innovations to be worn by the likes of Sergio Agüero, Radamel Falcao & recently converted Marco Reus.

The evoSPEED launched in May 2012 to replace the V1 series and has since played a huge part in PUMA signing an impressive squad of world class players. A genuine contender as one of the best speed boots on the market, the latest evoSPEED offering has undergone a few technical tweaks as PUMA release the 1.3 design.

The key changes are a new upper, an optimised footbed and a redesigned support system with the idea of offering players greater agility. Like the previous editions the evoSPEED 1.3 was designed with velocity in mind and PUMA have introduced a new super-thin microfiber upper which provides additional grip for ball control at high speed.

One further innovation of the new PUMA evoSPEED 1.3 is the redesigned support system with its external midfoot cage that enables stability for changing direction at pace. A new optimised footbed is added for a snug fit as PUMA aim to strike a perfect balance between speed and comfort. Finally, the boot features a redesigned eye-catching PUMA wording on the lateral side, just in case there was any doubt over which brand the boot belongs to.

Don't just take our word for it, Sergio Agüero likes it, "The new evoSPEED 1.3 feels like a good improvement, the new upper is great. I like that it gives a little more grip on the ball, and it definitely helps me when I am heading towards the goal trying to leave the opponents behind." See. Oh, and it's also available in leather.
