When adidas tell you they've created "the best fitting football boot in the world" you sit up and pay attention, in fact you stop what you're doing immediately and try it on. If you weren't already, it's about time you started taking Primeknit serious.

The original adidas Samba Primeknit was different, a breakthrough technology that was experimental, it was intriguing but it didn't have us questioning whether it was the future of football boot design, the Primeknit 2.0 however, well, things just got interesting.

The Primeknit kid has grown up fast, adidas believed they were onto something special and the Primeknit 2.0 hasn't just matured from its predecessor, it's almost unrecognisable, in technology advancements at least. "Compression fit" technology has transformed the Primeknit into a product which has you struggling to disagree with adidas' bold comfort claim.

Some description

Sneaker style comfort is achieved by using an all-new compression tongue, which wraps around the midfoot area for a lockdown effect. Dropping as adidas' second installment of their new "Limited Collection" series following on from the adizero 99g, the adidas Primeknit 2.0 showcases more innovation genius that the Three Striped bods have up their sleeves with a new anatomical heel shape & design and a zoned knitted upper with a lightweight vacuum coated skin to protect the yarns in all weather.

We say "Limited Collection" but they'll be 10,000 pairs of Primeknit 2.0 boots landing globally. The collection will reveal a number of breakthrough innovations so it's understandable adidas wanted to include the Primeknit 2.0, but that quantity is also a sign of how serious adidas are taking their latest Primeknit chapter. It's here to stay, and we're aware that adidas have said that before, but this time we're convinced. Get on board, we're all riding first class to comfort town and this train is gonna fill up fast.

The adidas Primeknit 2.0 boot is available from 22/04/15 at selected online stockists including Pro-Direct Soccer. Got something to add? Drop us a line in the comments.
