The comeback is real. As Nike add another string to their bow with the Tech Craft Pack, we take a closer look at how the Beaverton juggernauts have reinvented each of their four silhouettes.

It's funny how a slight design change can change a boot completely. After reinventing the wheel with the introduction Flyknit construction, Dynamic Fit collars, Flywire support, and lightweight synthetics, Nike's latest surprise move goes back to the old school, combining classic leather craftsmanship with new-age innovation. The collection strategically places a thin layer of leather in high ball-contact areas (the medial and lateral sides of the forefoot) on each of Nike’s four football boots: the Hypervenom II, Magista Obra, Mercurial Superfly IV and Tiempo Legend V.

Some description

Each boot is swallowed up by a black leather upper for a collection that brings together elements of subtle and loud design in a combination of exquisite style. The colour-scheme from the recent 'Lightning Storm' Pack is retained but the layer of black leather gives the collection a classic appeal and a design that will no doubt be popular with players looking for a more traditional feel to kick off the season.

The Nike Tech Craft Pack is available worldwide from select retailers including Pro-Direct Soccer. What we thinking? Drop your comments below.
