Having wrapped their third-generation evoPOWER in a blanket of disguise those mischievous scamps at PUMA have peeled the Camo off to unveil the latest upgrade in all its glory.

The evoPOWER and evoSPEED series have taken PUMA Football to the next level in recent seasons and the latest edition of the successful power silo sees a number of new technologies that stick to the same evoPOWER principles of barefoot kicking and maximum power. A completely new outsole and an improved upper material are introduced to create a more flexible, more streamline version of the boot which is seen by many as the leading true 'Power' boot in the market.

Tech wise we're looking at an increased amount of AccuFoam in the upper compared to the previous 1.2 edition as PUMA provide a smoother kicking surface and the new outsole focuses on an improved configuration of the bladed and conical studs to allow for more manoeuvrability and extra stability for the standing leg when kicking.

Some description

Almost two years to the day since PUMA shook up their boot line-up by retiring the PowerCat in favour of the evoPOWER we see a third generation edition and on first inspection, the most advanced yet. You can expect to see Cesc Fabregas, Olivier Giroud, Yaya Toure along with the rest of PUMA's pool of evoPOWER players switching into the "Safety Yellow/Atomic Blue" colourway from this weekend.
