Dropping as the new on-pitch collection for Spring 2018 adidas introduce the "Deadly Strike" Pack. Headlined by the laceless Predator 18, shades of mint and blue also submerge X, Nemeziz, and Copa series as adidas serve up a domestic dish ahead of attentions turing to Russia.

All of adidas' leading Predator players will switch into the new colourway from this weekend through to the final few games of the current 2017/18 season. Although we're sure the Three Stripes will have a few tricks up their sleeve to tease their World Cup arsenal around early May.

As for the Predator 18+ colourway, it's a smart all-blue ("Unity Ink") affair across the upper with flashes of mint green making noise on the stripes and creeping through the Purecut Laceless system when the foot is locked in place. It's clean, and it works. Combine it with the rest of the corresponding collection and it's a strong overall visual for spring.

Whereas the first two Predator 18 colourways leaned on past designs, the "Deadly Strike" edition is the first aesthetic to give the re-born series an identity of its own. Tech wise you're looking at the same boot; laceless upper and all that, Forged Knit to provide the ridges for ball control, and a ControlFrame that includes a full length Boost midsole for added comfort.

The "Deadly Strike" Predator 18+ also drop as a laced 18.1 edition if that's more your thing, and as a cage shoe for football in a small-sided environment. Safe and stylish, feeling it.
