adidas Launch The Predator 18+ "Energy Mode"

Throwing Moscow moves with vibes of volume, adidas launch the Predator 18+ "Energy Mode" edition to headline their 2018 World Cup pack. It's bold, it's brash, it's everything you can get away with for a World Cup tournament, and it's going to feel like it's everywhere this summer.

The World Cup is the red carpet, the main stage, the big dance, the friggin' Catalina Wine Mixer of footballing festivals. This is the platform for brands to shout loud, to release products that become immortal in footballing history. You wouldn't go to Mardi Gras in a plain black suit would you? More Volt, more vibes.

Back in 1998, adidas launched the Predator Accelerator in a stunning "Electricity" colourway, the first Predator model to button up in such a suit, and that's where the inspiration comes from for the "Energy Mode" Predator 18+ which will be worn by the likes of Dele Alli, Mesut Ozil, and Paul Pogba at the 2018 World Cup in Russia next month.

In previous tournament adidas have opted for a matching collection of football boots, most recently the black and white "Battle Pack" in Brazil 2014, but this tournament is vibrantly different. Each leading adidas silo is coated with identity, and the Predator is joined by a bright orange Nemeziz 18+ and "Blue/Solar Yellow" X 18+ drop. Pick your flavour.
