The new ONE 18.1 LDN City Pack edition is the result of a colossal four-way collaboration between PUMA x Pro:Direct x Poet x Yinka to celebrate the influence of London life on football upbringing. Dropping as one third of the new collection, the ONE 18.1 will be worn on pitch by Arsenal's Hector Bellerin this weekend.

Representing the city by night with a "Black/Grey" tonal upper that features 3M reflective elements, with the flash effect being a nod to the construction workers building the city, and the graphic designed to represent the landscape of tower blocks you see throughout London.

The boot takes on a modest aesthetic on the exterior but it's inside where the storytelling is pieced together. The insoles feature a patchwork graphic to represent the inside of an estate and the people who live within it – made up of patterns found on things that represented Poet’s childhood growing up in London: bus tickets, take away menus, sweet wrappers, old mobile phones etc.

The sole plate features the patchwork pattern hidden beneath the black surface. As the boots are worn this paint will chip away and reveal a more colourful side to the boot. Clever, that. The ONE 18.1 is joined by a Future 2.1 football boot and a Future AVID NetFit sneaker to complete the full LDN City Pack.
