PUMA have thrown their first punches of 2020 by releasing their next on-pitch boot collection. The Future 5.1 and ONE 5.1 silos are given fresh colourways to drop as part of the new "Spark Pack" to be worn by all PUMA players from this weekend onwards.

The pack is undoubtably headlined by that statement Future 5.1 design with its bright yellow NetFit aesthetic on the black base. The Future 5.1 arrives as the first colour update since the new-generation boot was launch late last year and features all the same tech as "Flash Pack" drop. It doesn't take much to work out where the inspiration for the colourway came from, as PUMA have roped in two of their biggest assets in Marco Reus and Borussia Dortmund to ensure the colourway gets a strong in-line look on pitch when paired with the BVB home kit. Worth noting that while most pros will wear the mid-collared edition, PUMA have also released a lo-cut version.

The ONE 5.1 update arrives in an equally bright wrap with a wavy little graphic for the likes of Sergio Aguero and David Silva to wear throughout January and February as PUMA opt for a vibrant start to the new decade. There's a big summer of football coming up in 2020 and PUMA arguably have their strongest boot collection in a long time, it'll be interesting to see what surprises they've got up their sleeves as EURO 2020 approaches. For now, it's a very slick start.
