Keeping the Future fresh, PUMA launch an update on their agility silo that’s set to be worn on-pitch by all of its Future athletes throughout the winter period. Offering redefined agility, the “Flash Pack” Future 5.1 features a newly engineered knit upper integrated NETFIT technology for an adaptive fit.

With it being all of about 10 months since the last update, PUMA obviously felt that it was high time for a new Future. And so this here is the Future 5.1, reworked to place agility at the centre of its design. Although launched under the title of “Flash Pack”, the Future 5.1 arrives alone, with no sign of an accompanying ONE that the “Pack” element would otherwise suggest. And do you know what? We're going big early here... it's the best looking Future to date. There, said it.

Set to be worn on pitch by Dortmund’s Marco Reus and Barcelona pair Antoine Griezmann and Luis Suarez, the Future 5.1 updates include a newly engineered knit upper, which features integrated NETFIT technology for an adaptive fit that supports the foot during sharp changes of direction. This quick movement is then complemented by the lightweight RAPIDAGILITY outsole, which has been designed for explosive multidirectional movement. A GripControl Pro layer is also applied to the key ball contact areas to give you a bit of help with your touch too.

All that tech aside, the new aesthetic is very smart indeed. A new split colour combination arrives in a stunningly strong "Blue/Black" pairing, and that 'FUTURE' branding on the mid-cut collar is the result of PUMA throwing their branding on various lifestyle pieces in recent months. Yep, we're all over these. A statement update that'll carry PUMA into EURO 2020 territory.
