Presenting a second look for its latest laceless option, Lotto launch the Solista 100 III Gravity in a “Diva Blue/White/Skydiver Blue” colourway that harks back to the first time that the Italian brand ditched the string, way back in 2006.

Believe it or not, Lotto were the first brand to release a laceless football boot, with the Zhero Gravity, which dropped 14 years ago, back in 2006. While that concept was way ahead of its time then, with it never quite gaining traction on pitch, Lotto brought laceless design back into the fold last year, with the release of the Solista 100 III Gravity.

And in tribute to one of the colourways for the OG laceless Zhero Gravity, Lotto have decked out the Solista 100 III Gravity in a “Diva Blue/White/Skydiver Blue” paint job that sees the same gradient effect from the last release working through the knitted upper. The Zhero Gravity took a white base with blue accents, and here that look is inverted, with the blue base being joined by the white Lotto logo on the lateral side.

From a technical perspective, Lotto have used a seamless one-piece upper to keep weight to a minimum, while the knit-elastic mesh wraps around the foot for a locked-in, almost air-tight sensation. A foil overlay works with the mid-collared upper to provide the comfort and stability that you would expect from top level laceless boots, and a special design and emboss finish on the upper provides a little bit of added ball control. Lotto's laceless legacy lives on.
