Making the occurrence all the more difficult to predict, PUMA envelop their current lineup in darkness for a second time this year as part of the latest 'Eclipse Pack'. Yep, the newly released Ultra gets a sleek new look alongside the current iteration of the Future.

The Eclipse Pack has become a regular in PUMA’s repertoire in recent years, initially dropping back in August 2018, followed up fairly closely by the second Eclipse pack in February 2019. Then almost exactly 12 months later to the day, the ONE and Future were wrapped in darkness for a third instalment, and now that’s followed up 6 month later with this latest rendition.

With the introduction of the Ultra, the PUMA lineup has shifted once again, and the current pairing of Ultra and Future 5.1 are paired together for the latest Eclipse pack. The execution of the stealthy look is executed to perfection on the new Ultra, for which this is only the third look, following the launch colourway and the prototype look. It sees silvery details woven into the otherwise dark, fully engineered and technologically advanced, lightweight MATRYXEVO® upper. Strong contrast to that "Chasing Adrenaline" colour combination of "Shocking Orange/Black/White” that the boot featured initially.

For the Future, it’s not a look that’s unfamiliar to the silo, but it doesn’t make it any less appealing. That fully knitted upper with the adaptable NETFIT support looks all the more impressive in darkness, while the Big Cat appears on the forefoot, just as it does with the Ultra.

Ballin’ in black, PUMA know the appeal of a stealthy suit of seduction, and they’re not afraid to lean on that.
