To celebrate his 100th international cap for France, PUMA presented Antoine Griezmann with a special pair of Ultra 1.3, customised by designer Silni Art, which the Frenchman wore in the UEFA Nations League final against Spain last night.

If you’re going to celebrate your 100th international cap, there’s not many better ways to do it than by winning a final and lifting silverware. That’s how Antoine Griezmann did it in last night’s UEFA Nations League final against Spain, a game the French controversially won 2-1, thanks to a goal from Kylian Mbappe, which looked just a bit offside. Still, we’re missing the point… Point is, Griezmann celebrated his milestone in style, not only because of the win – which undoubtedly helped – but also because of a specially customised pair of boots courtesy of PUMA and Silni Art.

The Atletico man showed off the boots ahead of kick off before wearing them in the warmup and the first half of the game. He switched back into a standard pair of Ultra 1.3 for the second half.

The customised boots were created exclusively for Griezmann by Silni Art, taking the 'Faster Football' Ultra 1.3 they featured the French flag in the heel as well as large 'Grizi 100’ graphic down the lateral side of the left boot. The right boot featured two gold stars, one possibly for the 2018 world cup win and the other perhaps preempting the Nations League win. The outside heel of both boots were then signed off with the date of Griezmann's international debut, which came in a 2-0 win over the Netherlands on 5 March, 2014.
