Back in black and ready for preseason, adidas drop the latest edition of the Nightstrike Pack, which sees the Predator Accuracy and COPA Pure joined in darkness for the first time by the X Crazyfast.

There’ll always be a market for understated blackout boots, and so adidas cater to this appeal with the latest update for the Nightstrike Pack, which builds upon the February release by recruiting the all-new X Crazyfast to the ranks. The latest generation boot lines up alongside the Predator Accuracy and COPA Pure, both of which have been seen in the same suits of stealth when they dropped earlier in the year.

For the X Crazyfast, the triple black look is joined only by the slightest hint of iridescence, shimmering through the forefoot Three Stripe branding and the “Crazyfast” callout on the medial side.

The new X Crazyfast includes a replacement of the previous carbon soleplate insert with a new AEROPLATE insert that makes the overall plate 5g lighter. This update provides optimal comfort and responsiveness, while retaining the same design features for propulsion and dynamic movement, with the stud design built to optimise traction during rapid acceleration.

The semi-translucent Aeropacity Speedskin upper offers a second skin feel, while the Primeknit collar provides great comfort.

The Predator Accuracy and COPA Pure then complete the lineup, both drenched in darkness to accentuate the bare features of each boot: for the Predator, it's that Hybrid Touch upper and the High Definition Grip rubber elements, while for the COPA Pure, it's that luxuriously quilted leather forefoot. Both looking great in black, ready for a lowkey return to action in this preseason.
