USMNT and Juventus forward, Tim Weah is the latest player to receive his very own signature style, with New Balance presenting him with a bespoke pair of Tekela 4 boots called ‘Queens’ Finest’.

New York born and raised, Timothy Weah signed with New Balance back in October 2021, and now, after nearly two years with the brand, he gets his first signature edition boot with the ‘Queens’ Finest’ Tekela 4. The release is the latest signature style to come from the American brand for its young and exciting roster of talent, having recently provided bespoke boots for the likes of Bukayo Saka, Harvey Elliott, and most recently, Eberechi Eze.

For Weah’s boots, the focus is on his roots, and specifically his younger years in New York. Although born in Brooklyn, he spent a lot of time in Queens, hence the name. The official colourway of "White/Red/Blue" (naturally), sees the white as teh base colour, with the blue playing out predominantly in the rear quadrant of the boot through a star effect graphic that wraps around the heel, overlaid with the torch of the Statue of Liberty, iconic symbol of New York.

The red is utilised in the bold 'N' branding on the lateral side of both boots, and on the 'NB' branding on the medial side of the heel, uniting all three colours of the United States flag.

The forefoot of the soleplate then features a map of New York City, with Queens highlighted in red, before a chrome effect completes the underside, stretching back to the heel area.

Weah has already been wearing these in the USMNT training camp, and will likely wear them in the upcoming international fixtures against Uzbekistan and Oman.
