Doing what the Premier does best, Nike reveal the grassroots specialist in another new colourway, this time a tonal “Grey/Silver” that’s inspired by the Tiempo Legend V from the Tiempo XX pack.

The Tiempo originally debuted back in 1994 and has since gone on to enjoy 30 years of continuity, marking it out as Nike’s longest lasting silo. Its strength has always been its ability to evolve, and to mark its 20th anniversary Nike released the Tiempo XX pack. Now, ten years on from that, the Premier III – itself a spiritual relation to the Tiempo – is decked out in a “Photon Dust/Metallic Silver/Black” colourway as a homage to that 2014 release.

Following on from the recent drop of the Ronaldinho-inspired “Gold/White” release that dropped last week, the boot sees an off white base colour, with those over-sized Swooshes riding down both sides in silver. That ties in with that tongue, which is lifted from the Air Tiempo Legend II. Not a fan of the tongue? Not a problem; Nike have placed a dotted cut line along its base, just incase you want to lop it off. Black then dominates the heel and soleplate, while the laces also appear in that colour for contrast.

The Premier III boasts a premium cow leather upper, featuring an altered stitch pattern through the forefoot to create specific cushioning zones at the instep and outstep.
