Hot on the heels of the official Predator Instinct release, adidas drop a brand new Predator goalkeeper glove.

Bringing together the best parts from previous glove ranges and combining them with feedback from some of their top assets, adidas have gone in search of shot stopping perfection with their new Predator Zones Ultimate goalkeeper gloves.

Featuring adidas's contact maximiser cut, designed to give the largest possible contact area in all handling positions, the gloves have a grippy latex palm that provides the best friction between glove and ball. Nova Zone tech zones on the fingers feature adidas's top Nova latex that has been tried and tested on adidas footballs to give ultimate grip all weather conditions. The gloves also featuring specially engineered zones to aid durability on the areas of the palm which normally wear away quickest. These zones are also on the back of the hand to aid punching the ball clear when under pressure.

Protection is provided by adidas's removeable fingersave spines that withstand being bent back even when facing the hardest of shots, and an exchangeable wrist control system designed to stabilise and control the wrist. All in all it's an impressive package, but perfection doesn't come cheap with the gloves currently retailing at £130.
