adidas are set to land a dominant on pitch presence in Brazil this summer, each of their players will be laced up in the crazy Battle Pack boot designs and now their goalkeepers have been kitted out with matching attire as adidas launch the Predator World Cup gloves.

The only thing closer than a relationship between footballer and football boot is the relationship between goalkeeper and goalkeeper glove. The tools of the trade for the man between the sticks has far more potential for success or disaster and adidas have acknowledged this by working hand-in-hand with their contracted 'keepers when designing the Predator World Cup Pro gloves.

The goalkeepers, including Casillas, Neuer and Cech coloured in parts of whiteout gloves which they deemed to be the most important to them and adidas set about fulfilling their needs. The three most common highlighted areas were the grip zone on the fingers and thumb, the punching zone on the back of the fingers and the abrasion zone on the palm.

The adidas Predator Pro World Cup gloves feature a negative cut with latex gussets to ensure a seamless touch. Nova zone tech is used on the finger tips, which is engineered for catching and control and is designed to react specifically to the texture of the Brazuca, therefore giving adidas 'keepers an advantage this summer. A close fitting bandage and stretch-strap also feature to fit every goalkeeper's individual wrist measurements.
