Japanese favourites Mizuno take over LDN19 for the Morelia's 30th birthday bash.

London’s hub for all things happening in the world of football boots, Pro-Direct LDN19, last week hosted Mizuno 30th anniversary party for the iconic Morelia. The runbird lit up Carnaby Street for an exclusive event that brought together industry influencers and tastemakers alike. Sushi, Japanese beer and lavish amounts of top-dollar Morelia gear made for a one-of-a-kind shindig that did justice to the outstanding heritage of the boot. Mr. Morelia himself, Mizuno's Yasui San, was in town to share his stories from three decades alongside the Morelia.

Check out how the night went down in the pictures above including the winner of a Mizuno Morelia 30th Anniversary Collectors Edition Box.

Last week Mizuno released 500 individually numbered "Morelia 30th Anniversary Collectors Edition" boxes, headlined by the first complete re-issue of the original Morelia Runbird boot. Joining the Runbird were the latest editions of the heritage-soaked Morelia II and Morelia Neo speed boot silo to signify different stages of three Morelia decades.

The event capped off Mizuno's Morelia celebrations that first kicked off with the release of the Runbird LE; a limited edition Morelia based entirely on the original and constructed using the same molds, materials and lasts as the original boot that made its debut in 1985.

Fancy taking a plunge on the Mizuno Morelia 30th Anniversary Collectors Box or the Runbird LE? If so, both are available here.
