Nike show why they're winning the ad game with spectacular new Magista video featuring Arda Turan
It's something Nike are just too good at. To celebrate the launch of the new Magista football boot, the creative minds at Nike have put together another crazy video ahead of this weekend's Champions League final featuring Atletico Madrid midfielder Arda Turan, one of the world’s leading playmakers, showing why he’s earned the nickname ‘The Turkish magician’.
The film opens as Turan dribbles the ball during an action-packed game at the Calderon stadium. He begins to run towards the defender, at which time the scene changes and the action moves from the pitch to the stage where Turan switches roles to a magician in a theater, and the defensive player is lying in a box before being cut in half. The video then flips back to the pitch where Turan nutmegs the defender and delivers a spectacular pass to his striker. Another spectacular ad for the Nike showreel.
