The second episode of adidas’ Gameday Plus series has landed ahead of this week’s Champions League fixtures. Following on from the opening episode of the new season, the latest installment takes us from Chelsea and Barcelona before making a stop at adidas’ Global HQ in Germany. Hosted by Layla Anna-Lee and Roman Kemp, we’re given an exclusive behind-the-scenes interview with Lionel Messi who talks about playing in the Champions League, his childhood in Rosario, Argentina, and scoring five goals in a UEFA Champions League match.
Chelsea’s Andre Schürrle also meets Layla Anna-Lee to talk about the influence Michael Ballack before giving fans the chance to win a pair of signed boots. Roman Kemp later sits down with adidas Innovation Team member Aubrey Dolan to talk through the new adidas adizero f50 Yohji Yamamoto boot which will be worn this week in the Champions League.
