adidas "Gamedayplus" returns for its first episode of the season featuring Xabi Alonso and behind the scenes access at Chelsea's training ground.
Ahead of the 14/15 Champions League, adidas are ramping up their Game Day Plus feature for its second series and from the looks of the first episode, it’s going to be a good one. For those of you unfamiliar with adidas Game Day Plus, here's what you can expect. The video series, presented by Roman Kemp and Layla Anna-Lee, offers unique access to Europe’s top clubs and interviews with some of the biggest names competing in the Champions League. A new episode will be released at the start of every Champions League week with chances to win signed product and, if adidas know what’s good for them, a lot more of Layla Anna-Lee.
Episode 1 sees Xabi Alonso speak about his move to Bayern Munich and his infamous adidas vs Nike training ground spat with Cristiano Ronaldo, while Layla Anna-Lee goes behind the scenes at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground with newcomers Diego Costa and Filipe Luis. We also get Daley Blind’s reaction to the Champions League draw, with the poor chap probably knowing full well he’d be at Old Trafford by the time the tournament kicked off.
