New Balance's much anticipated dive into the world of football finally has an official date. Arriving at SB HQ this morning was an invite marking Wednesday 4th February as the day the brand returns to the beautiful game.
London will play host as New Balance arrive on a red carpet of hype generated by months of teasing since the decision to switch from Warrior Football to the parent brand. New Balance have already been busy behind closed doors on the recruitment side of things as Samir Nasir, Aaron Ramsey, Adnan Januzaj and Alvaro Negredo have all been wearing black and whiteout versions of an, as of yet, mystery New Balance boot silo.
The official launch event will switch on the lights at New Balance HQ, a place where the designers have so far been working in the dark on a number of exciting projects as they prepare to launch a full metal attack on a football industry which they've been absent from for over three decades.
