PUMA mark the launch of the second-generation evoPOWER by reeling in Cesc Fàbregas and Mario Balotelli to star in a new film playing on the increased accuracy and power of the boot.
Since the launch of the evoPOWER silo in January last year the boot has gone on to become a big player in Europe as PUMA assembled a strong squad of on-pitch professionals. Two of their headline acts, Balotelli & Fàbregas go head-to-head in a match up of Power vs Accuracy in their new evoPOWER 1.2 boots, closely watched by the king of smooth Thierry Henry.
Balotelli and Cesc won't have to wait long to give their new footwear a proper run out as they go head-to-head for real when Liverpool play Chelsea in the League Cup Semi Final this week. Fàbregas will be hoping his new wheels chalk up a few more assists whilst Balotelli will be hoping they keep his feet warm on the Anfield bench on another chilly night in Merseyside.
The new PUMA evoPOWER 1.2 worn by Balotelli and Fàbregas in the new campaign video is designed to maximise the power and accuracy potential of a player using AccuFoam tech for added shot power and GripTex technology for added friction at the point of release.
