Mesut Özil gets in on the adidas 'Never Follow' campaign to support the 'Red Limit' collection launch in a short video with his adidas ACE 17+ Purecontrol football boots.
The absolute definition of a creative midfielder, Mesut Özil stands for everything adidas want the ACE 17+ Purecontrol silo to represent. In the film, the Arsenal man encourages young footballers to express themselves and forge their own path, rather than try and follow his. In response to his skills, tricks and assists, the voiceover in the film – delivered from the point of view of a young aspiring football fan – defiantly tells Özil he doesn’t want to be anything like him, he just wants his boots. 
The film is the latest in the new series that supports the 'Red Limit' collection, after Paul Pogba helped launched the next-generation boot with BOOST technology in a similar styled film. As for Özil, he'll be wearing the Red Limit ACE 17+ Purecontrol for Arsenal throughout December.
