John Swift Debuts Upcoming Glitch Colourway

Reading youngster John Swift gave a premature debut to an upcoming adidas Glitch outer-skin on Monday night as England U21s marched to the top of their European Championship table by coming from behind to beat Slovakia 2-1 in Poland.

Since the disruptive arrival of Glitch in October 2016 adidas have focused their innovative concept at the next-generation of footballing talent. Launched in London and only available by obtaining a unique code to purchase through the app, adidas tore up the rulebook on boot design and sales with a totally new concept and consumer experience. Allocating the Glitch to U21 players across the London area, the two-piece construction has found its way to the U21 Euro Championship this summer thanks to John Swift.

We've already seen Tottenham's Kyle Walker-Peters win the U20 World Cup in the silo and now Swift has bagged more international recognition for the intriguing boot. Born in London, the Glitch is set to grow with a generation as adidas introduce new, potentially intimidating, innovations into the market gently. The pace of Glitch updates has been rapid over the past six months with adidas serving up almost twenty different outer-skin design that showcase the versatility of the uninterrupted upper and the latest modest design worn by Swift is set to drop later this week.
