Does anybody even read this introduction or do you just start scrolling away? Yeah, here's this week's edition of custom colourways, new releases and throwback boots etc. You know the drill. Monday equals Boot Spotting. Go, scroll...

Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7

Cristiano Ronaldo gave a goalscoring start to the fifth chapter in his signature Nike Mercurial series. CR7 bagged as brace as Real Madrid beat Borussia Dortmund 3-1, his first goals in the boot inspired by his move to Madrid, a boot titled "Cut to Brilliance."

Angel Di Maria (PSG) adidas X 17+ Purespeed

The latest adidas boot collection was officially unveiled last week with all contracted adidas players switching into the new Pyro Storm Pack this weekend. Angel Di Maria was in action wearing the "Solar Red" X 17+ Purespeed as PSG beat Bordeaux 6-2.

Nacho Monreal (Arsenal) PUMA One 17.1

Not many all black boots are supplied by brands to their pro players, but PUMA decided to lace up Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal in the latest "Black/Silver" One 17.1 boot against Brighton on Sunday. Monreal opened the scoring as the Gunners ran out 2-0 winners at the Emirates.

Aaron Pierre (Northampton Town) PUMA King Top Di

Another player in black PUMA boots this weekend was Northampton's Aaron Pierre. The Cobblers' defender was keeping things old school in the classic King Top Di. That fold over white tongue still looking boss on the professional scene.

Yohann Cabaye (Crystal Palace) adidas Copa Mundial

More throwback style was on show in the Premier League this weekend as Yohann Cabaye ditched New Balance in favour of a blacked out mixed-soleplate adidas Copa Mundial. No chance of Three Stripes and even less chance of three points as Palace were still left searching for their first Premier League goal of the season.

Keisuke Honda (Pachuca) Mizuno Rebula V1

Keisuke Honda is the only Mizuno player as of yet to switch into the new "Glow Pink" edition of the Rebula V1 silo. Leicester City's Shinji Okazaki and Southampton's Maya Yoshida have both remained in the modest launch colourway.

Raffaele Schiavi (US Salernitana) adidas Copa Mundial

There was more adidas Copa Mundial representation in Serie B this weekend as Raffaele Schiavi was sporting the all white edition complete with tucked in tongue. He's a double lace-wrap away from being transported back to the 90s.

Renato Sanches (Swansea City) adidas Nemeziz 17.1

Renato Sanches joined the adidas Pyro Storm party this weekend as he switched into the latest Nemeziz 17.1 colourway. Punching hard in "Solar Red" the Nemeziz stood out alongside Swansea's all black away strip.

Martin Rodriguez (Cruz Azul) Nike Mercurial Vapor XI

There was custom creativity on show in the Mexican league this week as Martin Rodriguez was wearing his bespoke Nike Mercurial Vapor XI design. Wrapped in tones of blue to match up with his Cruz Azul kit. Smart.

Esteban Sachetti (Apollon Limassol) Nike Mercurial Vapor XI

Another player sporting a custom Nike Mercurial Vapor XI design this week was Esteban Sachetti. The Apollon Limassol man was in action as the Cypriots travelled to Goodison Park to take on Everton in the Europa League.

Memphis Depay (Lyon) Under Armour Spotlight

Under Armour caused a stir when they launched the Spotlight boot with zipped lace covers earlier this year. Memphis Depay began the season wearing the model but has since unzipped to wear a more traditional version.
