Cristiano Ronaldo has switched into his latest signature Nike design to train with Portugal this week. The skipper introduced his teammates to the Mercurial Superfly CR7 "Chapter 6" boots ahead of Portugal's friendly with Egypt on Friday.
The sixth chapter of seven in the current Cristiano Ronaldo signature Mercurial line takes inspiration from his captaincy. Titled "Born Leader" the boot tells the story of his rise to captain Portugal, and Nike clearly had the new Portugal training kit in mind when they were designing the signature boot for their leading man. A smart match, indeed.
Launched on the same day as the Portugal 2018 World Cup home and away shirts, the Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7 "Chapter 6" will be worn for the first time when Ronaldo leads his nation out for friendly fixtures against Egypt on Friday, and Holland on Monday.
