New Balance finally look set to announce the signing of Sadio Mané after the Liverpool forward switched into the new "Otruska" colourway of the Furon 4.0 complete with Champions League Final personalisation this afternoon.
Mané has been in and out of blacked out New Balance boots since the turn of the year, and now an official announcement is imminent as the Senegalese striker sported the Furon 4.0 at Melwood today – a boot that he'll wear at the 2018 World Cup in Russia this summer.
The Liverpool striker would be a huge coup for New Balance who are still in need of that headline name to carry the brand into serious football space. Leaning on the contacts with the club, they could receive the fastest of returns should Mané produce the goods at the 2018 Champions League Final against Real Madrid.
