The Predator 19 has arrived somewhat under the radar due to a certain COPA 19 taking all the spotlight recently. But Dele Ali, ever the Predator advocate, thrust it back into the limelight as he took to the field against Croatia in the Predator 19+, which dropped earlier this week as part of the adidas “Initiator Pack”.
Toni Kroos (Germany) adidas COPA 19.1
Have adidas finally managed to crowbar Toni Kroos out of his beloved 11Pros? For the second time recently the German maestro has been seen training in the brand new Copa 19.1, this time whilst on international duty. There’s still been no official announcement though, and he’s yet to test them out in a match. Continue to watch this space…
Thilo Kehrer (Germany) Nike PhantomVSN
Looks like PSG’s young German defender, Thilo Kehrer, has traded in his Tiempos, taking to the pitch for Germany's clash against Russia in the latest Phantom VSN “Shadows” from the second-wave of the Nike “Always Forward Pack”. To be fair to him, when you see them on pitch, you can understand why.
Marco Asensio (Spain) Nike Mercurial Superfly 360
Spain were narrowly pipped to top spot in their UEFA Nations League group this weekend, but Marco Asensio was able to console himself by running out in Spain’s 1-0 win against Bosnia and Herzegovina in the latest colourway of the Mercurial Superfly from the second-wave of Nike's "Always Forward Pack".
Erik Lamela (Argentina) adidas Glitch 18
The new look Argentina has a youthful appearance to it and Tottenham’s Eric Lamela is attempting to stake his claim in the side. He made an appearance from the bench against Mexico this week and stood out, if for nothing else, for his adidas Glitch 18, themselves decked out in a turquoise skin.
Jonathan Tah (Germany) Under Armour Magnetico
Bayer Leverkusen’s Jonathan Tah caught the eye this week as he trained with Germany; the big defender wearing the “blue circuit/white” Under Armour Magnetico. He went on to get a substitute appearance in Germany’s 3-0 win over Russia.
Maya Yoshida (Japan) Mizuno Rebula V2 1
Japan were held to a 1-1 draw against Venezuela, but Maya Yoshida stood out in his Mizuno Rebulas, which featured an orange colourway that we’ve not seen before. Could be that the Saints man has got his hands on a pair ahead of time or could be an exclusive look for him. Time will tell.
Tristan Abrahams (Exeter City) Nike Hypervenom
With all the international football going on, it’s easy to miss what’s happening in the leagues, but we caught sight of Exeter City’s Tristan Abrahams rolling the clock back to 2014 as he took to the pitch in the 2014 Nike Hypervenom that dropped as part of the “Shine Through Collection”.
Steven NZonzi (France) adidas COPA 19.1
Recently seen in black out boots following his time with Nike, it appears that N'Zonzi may have signed with adidas, after the Frenchman was seen wearing Copa 19.1 in his side’s 2-0 loss to Netherlands. N'Zonzi had been wearing the Phantom VSN until as recently as the end of October.
Isco (Spain) Nike PhantomVSN
In a strange move, Isco was seen wearing what looked to be a blacked out Phantom VSN this week in Spain’s game against Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Real Madrid man appears to have been wearing them since early November, which begs the question: is Isco on the move from Nike?
Mauro Icardi (Argentina) Nike Premier 2.0
Mauro Icardi obviously wasn’t in the mood for any nonsense in training this week, lacing up in a blacked out pair of Nike Premier 2.0. Usually seen in Hypervenom Phantom III DFs, the Inter forward must’ve fancied a change of pace. Either that or he’s eyeing up one of the most left-field silo switches we’ve ever seen…
