Inter Milan midfielder Antonio Candreva has provided what appears to be a first glance at the next-generation adidas Nemeziz 19+ this week as he trained in a blacked out design. The boot will arrive as the brand's next chapter of laceless agility, but don't expect an official reveal to be imminent just yet.

When a blackout silhouette appears on training pitches for the first time it's normally met with some speculation on what boot it could be – a next-generation, a new series entirely, or a limited edition drop – but Candreva's footwear looks to be a bit more straightforward than that for two reasons: The first being that it looks exactly like a Nemeziz, and secondly because it has the word 'Nemeziz' plastered across the instep. That's the big giveaway.

On first inspection the adidas Nemeziz 19+ looks to be a subtle upgrade on the current generation boot, and applies the same bandage-styled concept created when the series was first launched. The mid-cut collar looks to rise slightly further up the ankle while the whole upper sits on an updated soleplate and heel counter design. The only aesthetic give away on Candreva's boots is that adidas are bringing more obvious 'Nemeziz' branding to the upper – previously it only featured on the heels.
