The season is reaching its climax, and with league titles getting wrapped up this week in both Spain and Italy, there were some nice special editions and throwback classics on show. Add to that some new releases and some custom works and we’ve got ourselves a bounty for Boot Spotting. Here’s what caught our eye this week…

Cristiano Ronaldo (Juventus) Nike Mercurial Superfly VI CR7 SE

The CR7 signature line has been on hiatus recently, but with Juventus being crowned Serie A champions recently, and Ronaldo having a big hand in bringing the title back to Turin, Nike have once again provided the great man with a special pair of Mercurial Superfly. He gave them a goal-scoring debut, equalising in the 1-1 draw with Inter. Course he did.

Ousmane Dembele (Barcelona) Nike Mercurial Vapor X

With the chance of winning La Liga, Ousmane Dembele decided to brush up his look, dusting off a pair of Nike Mercurial Vapor X from 2015's 'Intense Heat' pack. Worked out alright too, with Messi scoring the only goal of the game against Levante to give the Catalans the league triumph.

Romeu Lukaku (Manchester United) PUMA ONE 19.1

It was the Manchester Derby this week, and Romelu Lukaku dressed for the occasion, with a special pair of customised ONE 19.1 that matched the colourway of the United home kit. Shame it didn't help him have an impact on the Premier League title race when he came off the bench, United losing to City 0-2.

Axel Witsel (Borussia Dortmund) PUMA ONE 19.1 SE

PUMA were laying on the special editions at title chasing Borussia Dortmund as well this week, with Axel Witsel among the players given a customised yellow and black pair of ONE 19.1s that tied in with the German team's home kit. Witsel wore them in Dortmund's loss against Schalke.

Marco Reus (Borussia Dortmund) PUMA Future 19.1 SE

Fairly safe to say that this week probably didn't pan out the way Marco Reus would've liked it to. It started well: chasing the Bundesliga title and given a special customised pair of Future 19.1 by PUMA, the Dortmund captain watched the team take the lead against Schalke. 1-2 down at half time but still in the game, he changed to his 'Power Up' boots. Then he got sent off and watched his side get beat 2-4. Ouch.

Raphael Guerreiro (Borussia Dortmund) adidas X 19.1

Completing a hat trick of Dortmund players, attacking midfielder Raphael Guerreiro gave us a preview of the next generation of the X that looks like it will be part of adidas' next launch. It must be fairly imminent, as it's been spotted on the feet of several pros in training this week.

Diego Perotti (AS Roma) adidas Nemeziz 19.1

AS Roma's Argentine winger, Diego Perotti gave us a closer look at the new next-gen Nemeziz 19.1, which, as with the X 19.1 above, look like they'll be dropping any time. The Nemeziz 19 looks like it's had more of a reworking than the X, with a split soleplate being one of the key updates, along with a new bandage system in the upper.

Keith Ward (Bohemian FC ) Nike T90 Laser III

Some throwback flavour in Dublin this week, as Bohemian FC's Keith Ward rolled the clock back to 2010 with the Nike T90 Laser III. To be fair to Keith, he's been wearing these for a while now (doubt since 2010) and they tie in fantastically with the Boh's home kit. Nice effort.

Mariano Diaz (Real Madrid) Nike Mercurial Vapor

Real Madrid attacker Mariano went down the special custom-look for his match against Rayo Vallecano this week, with a pair of whiteout Nike Mercurial Vapors. Rather than the usual FG soleplate, he opted for SG anti-clog, which actually contrasted nicely with the white look on the uppers. Probably would've looked better with Real's home kit though.

Valentino Lazaro (Hertha BSC) adidas Glitch19

Hertha's attacking midfielder, Valentino Lazaro, showed off an unreleased Glitch19 skin in training this week. Whether this one is on the way, or a special custom job for Lazaro is unclear, but it's certainly a standout look.

Richard Nartey (Chelsea) Nike Magista Opus I

Young Chelsea defender Richard Nartey stood out in training this week as he pulled on the Nike Magista Opus from 2014, made famous by Mario Goetze in the World Cup final in Brazil.
