Manchester City duo, David Silva and Sergio Aguero have been spotted training this week in what appears to be a prototype of the next generation PUMA ONE. Both players wear the ONE silo, and with the only other boot in PUMA’s locker being the Future, it’s a fairly safe bet that that's what we're looking at.
It seems that Man City’s training ground is the place to be for some premium boot spotting this week, because as well as Leroy Sane being seen in an unreleased pair of special edition Mercurials, David Silva and Sergio Aguero have now been seen trialling blacked-out versions of the next-gen PUMA ONE.
Not a great deal to tell at this stage, although it looks like the upper of the new ONE has had some significant remodelling, with panelling replacing the one-piece construction on the vamp. Also, Aguero is playing with his laces loosened and undone, suggesting an all-round snugger fit. Interestingly, there’s no sign of the famous Formstripe down the lateral side. This could either be a performance-influenced decision, or it could be just that it’s a prototype and it will be added later. Time will tell.
