Global Boot Spotting

We’ve taken in all corners of the globe in search of the best new releases, throwback classics, personalised pearls and signature styles. That’s right, it’s Monday and this is Global Boot Spotting. Let’s see which players and boots have caught our eye...

Paulo Dybala (Juventus) adidas COPA 20+

Paulo Dybala continued his good early season form by scoring from the spot in Juve's 1-1 draw with Lecce this week, and he did so in the new colourway for the COPA 20+ from the newly released 'Encryption Pack'.

Jamie Vardy (Leicester City) adidas X 19+

You'd imagine that Jamie Vardy would be pretty happy with his new X 19+ from the newly released 'Encryption Pack'. The Leicester hitman bagged a hat-trick in his side's record-breaking 9-0 away win against Southampton on Friday night. Still having' a party.

Roberto Firmino (Liverpool) adidas Nemeziz 19+

Roberto Firmino was seen training in the new 'Encryption Pack' X 19+ ahead of Liverpool's crunch clash with Tottenham on Sunday, and the Brazilian wore them in that match also, as the Reds triumphed 2-1 at Anfield.

Dele Alli (Tottenham Hotspur) adidas Predator 19+

Completing the 'Encryption Pack', Dele Alli took to the Anfield pitch in the latest Predator 19+ colourway, but unfortunately for Spurs fans, he didn't have as much impact on the pitch as his new look boots did.

Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City) Nike PhantomVSN

Following the recent Mercurial 'Dream Speed', Nike launched the 'Phantom Fire Pack', which saw specific colour-ups for the Phantom twins. Manchester City playmaker extraordinaire, Kevin De Bruyne opted to switch into the new-look Phantom VSN for his side's 3-0 win over Aston Villa.

Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich) Nike PhantomVNM

Rounding off the 'Phantom Fire Pack' on pitch rather poetically, Robert Lewandowski continued his unbelievable hot streak of scoring in every game for his club in the season so far by adding the second and winning goal against Union Berlin. Absolute Fire.

Sadio Mane (Liverpool) New Balance Furon V6

Sadio Mane was seen testing out what appears to be the next generation of the Furon in a white-out look at Melwood last week. Hard to see too many new details, but it looks like the upper has had a reworking. Expect this one to launch somewhere towards the end of the year.

Ola Aina (Torino) adidas X 506+ Tunit

As part of its vault refresh, adidas combined the modern tooling of the X with one of the most recognisable F50 silhouette's of all time. The X 506+ Tunit launched a few weeks back, and Torino's attacking midfielder, Ola Aina wore it in his side's 1-1 draw with Cagliari.

Serge Aurier (Tottenham Hotspur) Nike Mercurial Superfly I

Ah Serge Aurier. While many will say he's prone to the odd mistake on the pitch, he's spot on on the training ground, and this week was a prime example, as he turned out in first generation Mercurial Superfly from 2009.

Scott McDonald (Western United) Nike Tiempo Legend IV

Western United's Scott McDonald turned the clock back to 2012 this week as he donned the Nike Tiempo Legend IV, perfectly matching the green Swoosh with his club's kit in a 2-1 to Melbourne City.

Dimi Petratos (Newcastle Jets) Nike Mercurial Superfly VII

Sticking with the land Down Under, and Newcastle Jets' number 10, Dimi Petratos showed off the capabilities of Nike By You with a nicely personalised pair of Mercurial Superflys in his side's 2-1 defeat against Adelaide United.

Mauro Zarate (Boca Juniors) Nike Mercurial Vapor XIII

Another top display of personalisation from Nike By You as Mauro Zarate matched the colours of his Boca Juniors kit with his Mercurials in the Copa Libertadores clash with bitter rivals River Plate. Despite winning the game 1-0 in La Bombonera, Boca lost the tie 2-1 on aggregate.

Adama Traore (Melbourne Victory) adidas Predator LZ

Yep, another Adama Traore. But this one, a left back playing for Melbourne Victory, clearly likes a bit of a throwback, wearing the Predator LZ from 2012 in his side's 1-0 win against Brisbane Roar.
