Ibrahimovic Trains In An Unreleased PUMA Prototype Boot

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has given us our best look yet at an all-new PUMA prototype boot scheduled for release this summer as he continues to train with Hammarby, the Swedish club he part-owns, while football remains on lockdown in Italy.

We’ve already seen this PUMA prototype being put through its paces on the feet of Roma’s Aleksander Kolarov and PSG’s Eric Choupo-Moting, but now we’ve got our best look yet at the mystery silo as it was given the ultimate run out on the feet of Zlatan Ibrahimovic when he stepped out at Hammarby, the club he controversially part owns.

Ibrahimovic only recently switched to PUMA, when he swapped from the Swoosh back in March. Since that change he’s been playing in the Future silo, getting off to a flier as he scored in his first game in them against Genoa – a game Milan surprisingly lost 2-1. But now it looks like he may be switching silos within the PUMA family – if he likes what this new boot is all about that is.

The black boots look to combine some of the best features from both the ONE and Future silos, so it will be interesting to see where this one fits in, although early indications suggest that it may be the former that makes way. They look like they have a completely reworked upper, which is certainly constructed from some type of yarn material with a one-piece tongue construction. Its dipped collar is reminiscent of the adidas Nemeziz collar, but with a look that’s more reminiscent of the old evoSPEED model, we’d imagine this would be geared more towards speed than agility.
