Another week of action, and we've scoured the globe to bring you the best of the new releases, special editions, customised creations and throwback classics. It's Monday, it's Boot Spotting. Let's do this...
Mauro Icardi (PSG) Nike Phantom VNM
Returning to training ahead of the conclusion of the 19/20 Champions League, PSG's Mauro Icardi showed that he's still not a fan of the lace covering on the Phantom VNM, removing it from the Neighbourhood pack, likely to be able to tighten the boots further down the foot.
Rose Lavelle (Washington Spirit) New Balance Tekela v3
Rose Lavelle has been given her own personalised laceless Tekela v3 by New balance, and she wore it in Washington Spirit's 1-1 draw with Portland Thorns this week. The boots take the 'Rise & Reign' design and the feature Levelle's bespoke insignia, visible on the heel. Derived from the symbol of a Rose, the emblem is a nod to the USA and Cincinnati stripes, her autograph and the iconic headband worn during last summer’s tournament.
Raheem Sterling (Manchester City) Nike Phantom VNM
It's no secret that Raheem Sterling's contract with Nike was coming to an end, with rumblings linking him with alternate options from PUMA to becoming the first player to wear a Jordan boot. But now it looks like his contract has officially expired with Nike after he played in City's loss to Southampton in a fully blacked out Phantom VNM.
Charlie Colkett (Ostersunds FK) PUMA Future Retro
Over in Sweden, the Allsvenskan match between Ostersunds and Norkopping was a bit of a belter that ended 4-2 to the latter. But during that match, young English midfielder, Charlie Colkett was spotted in the PUMA Future Retro. The boot featured a graphic overlay that paid tribute to the classic PUMA INHALE running shoe from 2000. Also matched Charlie's kit quite nicely, too.
Lucas Digne (Everton) adidas X 19.1
In Everton's last match, Lucas Digne showed off a specially customised pair of X 19.1 boots, with graphics running down the sides of the white canvas. The artwork was completed by @graphorigins, although the meanings behind them aren't entirely clear.
Josip Drmic (Norwich) adidas F50 adizero IV Messi
Hard to miss, Josip Drmic played in Norwich's 1-0 loss to Brighton in the adidas F50 adizero IV "Messi Samba" boot. Released for the run-in of the 2014/15 season, the vibrant colourings of the boots used all the colours that were used heavily on the pre-World Cup packs such as the Samba Copa Mundial collection and the adidas Samba Pack.
Aden Flint (Cardiff City) Nike Tiempo Legend IV
A regular on the Boot Spotting list, Aden Flint again appears with some throwback fire, this time with the Nike Tiempo Legend IV. Originally released in January 2012 they combined a super soft k-leather upper and Nike's revolutionary Kanga-Lite material, combined with that signature quilted stitching in the forefoot.
