Another week in which the pros have been showing off some upcoming releases from the likes of adidas and Nike, with a little bit of throwback fire, special editions and custom creations thrown in for good measure. It's Monday, it's Boot Spotting, let's see who made the list...
Miguel Azezz (Arsenal) adidas x Reuben Dangoor Predator 20+
Getting their special-edition groove on, adidas teamed up with British artist Reuben Dangoor for a unique take on the Predator, the design of which celebrated the art of football and the power that the sport has to unify. Arsenal youngster Miguel Azezz was one of the first to show the boot off in training this week.
Alvaro Morata (Atletico Madrid) adidas x Reuben Dangoor Predator 20+
Predator officiando Alvaro Morata was another player to show his love for the limited edition design, and after he showed them off on his Instagram stories, he slipped them on for training. The adidas x Reuben Dangoor Predator represents the first time that an artist has collaborated on the famed silhouette. A limited edition release, it has already sold out.
Jadon Sancho (Borussia Dortmund) Nike Mercurial Superfly VII
What is this? Jadon Sancho showing off a vibrant new colourway for the Mercurial Superfly VII as his side trained ahead of the start of the new season. What's not clear at this moment in time is whether this is a signature edition for the England man, or a custom job. The upper looks too elaborate for a Nike by You job, suggesting the former is the more likely...
Lionel Messi (Barcelona) Upcoming adidas Nemeziz Messi 19.1
When you see a new looking boot on the feet of Leo Messi, there's only one thing it could realistically be. This week, the great man debuted what must be his latest upcoming signature edition Nemeziz Messi 19.1. It's certainly a colourful affair, with a bright all-over graphic. Watch this space for an official launch anytime now.
Memphis Depay (Lyon) Under Armour Magnetico Pro SL
For the Coupe De La Ligue final against PSG, Lyon's Memphis Depay wore a special pair of signature Under Armour Magnetico Pro. The Dutchman likes his special editions, and this version sees a golden base joined by purple accents. Unfortunately they didn't help him and Lyon, as they lost out on penalties to PSG.
Serge Gnabry (Bayern Munich) Upcoming adidas X 20.1
Bayern continued their preparations for the resumption of the Champions League with a friendly match against Marseille, and in that match, Serge Gnabry was seen in the upcoming next-gen X from adidas. The X looks set to be joined by the other three boots in the Three Stripes setup, with more and more pros being spotted in them. Expect an imminent release.
Hannibal Mejeri (Manchester United) adidas X 19+
Manchester United youngster Hannibal Mejbri has caught the eye in the past for his taste in Predators, but this week he showed off a different style, training in the adidas X 19+ from the 'Dark Script' pack, specially customised with some artwork from Japanese anime "Hunter x Hunter".
Roger Martinez (Club America) Nike Mercurial Vapor XIII
Heading down Mexico way, and Club America's Roger Martinez showed off the capabilities of the Nike by You service in his side's 2-1 over Pachuca, with a customised Mercurial Vapor that displayed his name down the medial side. That or it was an ode to Federer. Or Rabbit.
Ben Sheaf (Arsenal) Nike Phantom VSN II
More youth trying to catch some attention with their boot choice (and succeeding as far as we're concerned), as Ben Sheaf trained this week in the Phantom VSN II from the 'Future DNA' pack, which saw it suited up to look like the OG Hypervenom launch colourway from 2014.
Daniel Oyegoke (Arsenal) Nike Mercurial Vapor XIII
Sticking with the FA Cup winners (always guaranteed Boot Spotting gold to be had there) and Daniel Oyegoke was sporting some signature Neymar style this week with the Mercurial 'Jogo Prismatico'.
