Global Boot Spotting

Into the winter we go. As brands move into the final quarter of the year new releases begin to creep out of the darkness ahead of their respective launches. If you're looking for a pick of the best retro and unreleased boots on show from last week, you're in the right place. It's Monday, it's Boot Spotting. Let's go...

Hugo Duro (Real Madrid) adidas Predator Mutator+

While all attentions were on the Clasico at the weekend Real Madrid Castilla were in action against Getafe B. A number of the Real Madrid players switched into an upcoming adidas pack, including Hugo Duro in a "Black/Green" adidas Predator Mutator .1 colourway.

Hector Bellerin (Arsenal) PUMA King x Kid Super

Hector Bellerin stepped into the new PUMA King x Kid Super collaboration on Sunday night as Arsenal fell to a 1-0 defeat to Leicester at the Emirates. The low key release was launched by Bellerin last week and dropped in limited numbers.

Mo Salah (Liverpool) adidas X Ghosted .1

Mo Salah was gifted a special edition pair of adidas X Ghosted .1 boots last week for notching his 100th goal for Liverpool. The Egyptian striker wore them against Ajax in the week and then again against Sheffield United on Saturday night. That golden soleplate being the subtle upgrade on the originals.

Reiss Nelson (Arsenal) adidas Nemeziz .1

Another Arsenal player catching our eye in new boots this week was Reiss Nelson wearing an unreleased colourway of the adidas Nemeziz .1. Set to be released in the coming days, the Nemeziz update will be the next on-pitch design for adidas' pool of professional Nemeziz players.

Ron-Thorben Hoffmann (Bayern Munich) adidas Predator Mutator .1

Another upcoming adidas boot pack? Go on then. It looks set to be a busy few weeks for the Three Stripes with a "Black/Gold" Predator lined up alongside the "Black/Green" edition we spotted earlier on Hugo Duro. Ron-Thorben Hoffmann slipping into the laced .1 editions here.

Dmytro Chygrynskyi (AEK Athens) Nike Air Zoom T90 II

Dmytro Chygrynskyi provided what has to be the boot of the week by taking things back a couple of decades to lace up the Nike Air Zoom T90 II in that OG colourway. He's done well to keep them in good enough condition to wear, let a lone in a European Competition.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles (Arsenal) Nike CTR360 Maestri I

Making it a hat-trick of Arsenal players this week is Ainsley Maitland-Niles who switched into the first generation Nike CTR360 Maestri I, one of Nike's most popular discontinued boot silos. The Arsenal full-back was just 8 years old when these first came out.

David Alaba (Bayern Munich) adidas Predator Mutator .1 Low

The first round of Champions League Group Stage games commenced last week and adidas introduced their new "Glory Hunter" boot pack for their leading players to wear. Bayern Munich's David Alaba opted for the adidas Predator Mutator .1 Low version as Bayern started their title defence in typical style.

Luis Suarez (Atletico Madrid) PUMA Future 6.1

PUMA went bold for their latest on-pitch last week. As the nights draw in the brand have opted for a pop of vibrancy on the Future 6.1 NetFit boots from the new Turbo Pack, and Luis Suarez switched into them this week, while Antoine Griezmann was repping the more subtle "Black/Pink" Ultra 1.1.

Jude Bellingham (Borussia Dortmund) adidas COPA+

The adidas "Glory Hunter" only consisted of the Predator and COPA, with the Nemeziz and X sitting this one out. Borussia Dortmund's Jude Bellingham was representing the other half of the pack by sliding on the laceless adidas COPA+.

Kai Havertz (Chelsea) Nike Phantom GT Elite

Nike have been getting their players involved in they customisable NikeByYou service this month. The Premier League representation came via the feet of Kai Havertz who wore a custom Phantom GT Elite colourway against Manchester United at the weekend.

Kieran Tierney (Arsenal) adidas Predator adiPower

Arsenal was the place to be for Boot Spotting this week with Kieran Tierney evening out the retro/newness balance. The Scotsman switched into the 2011 adidas Predator adiPower for Arsenal midweek Europa League win.

Nabil Bentaleb (Schalke) adidas Predator Mutator .1 Low

Former Spurs man Nabil Bentaleb was another players sporting an upcoming Predator colourway this week as he switched into the low edition of the "Black/Green" pack that is expected to launch in November.
